Nick graduated with honors in criminal law from the University of Amsterdam in early 2021. Before starting his law studies, he completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in theoretical physics at the University of Groningen and the University of Edinburgh, respectively. At the latter university, he subsequently obtained a Master of Science in Sustainability and Finance. Nick then worked for some time as a legal assistant at a law firm and as a senior court lawyer at the fraud and environment department of the Amsterdam District Court.

Due to his exact and broad background, Nick is very well equipped to provide legal assistance in large and complex (financial) investigations. He can quickly get to the bottom of a case and is well able to approach a (legal) problem from different angles. Thanks to his strong sense of justice and his intrinsic motivation to stand up for the underdog, Nick applies his abilities with equal passion to bring smaller and less complex criminal cases to a successful conclusion.

Nick works decisively and is also accessible and empathetic. Nick speaks Dutch, English and Portuguese.
